Every Dorema awning is manufactured using premium materials – including TenCate outdoor fabrics, specifically DormaTex coated polyester designed exclusively for Dorema – and finished with high-quality YKK and Optilon zippers. Before leaving the factory, each awning is inspected and awarded the Dorema Quality Certificate, a recognised standard within the leisure industry.

Unlike some competitors who sell extras separately, every Dorema awning includes a draught skirt, wheel arch cover, ladder straps, heavy-duty nylon pegs, and canvas and frame bags as standard.
Dorema awnings are sized by your caravan’s A-measurement – the distance around the awning rail from ground to ground (measuring over the roof, not around the side). This measurement determines which awning size (2–22) you need.
If you are pitching seasonally, Dorema recommends measuring on your actual pitch before ordering, as decking or uneven ground can affect the A-measurement.

The Dorema Quality Certificate is awarded to every awning that passes Dorema’s factory inspection process. It confirms that the awning has been checked against the manufacturer’s quality standards and uses the specified materials, including TenCate fabrics and YKK zippers.
Some Dorema models are designed specifically for seasonal or all-season use, including the Quartz 400 De Luxe, Oslo, Mistral, and Omega De Luxe porch awnings. Touring models are designed for regular pitching and packing during the caravan season. Our team can advise on which model suits your style of caravanning.
A poled awning uses a traditional aluminium frame that you assemble on site. An air awning replaces the frame with inflatable beams that you pump up in minutes. Poled awnings tend to be more affordable; air awnings offer faster setup and a more modern profile.
Yes. Dorema offer annexes for a number of their full awning models, including the Horizon Air De Luxe. An annexe zips into either side of the awning to create additional enclosed space – useful for extra sleeping room or storage.
